I have windows home premium on my laptop and i Wanted to change the start-up sound but i see that it only has a box that say’s, play windows start-up sound. My questions is how exactly do you change the windows vista start-up sound since I cannot find it anywhere?

I recently installed an update for the screen resolution for my windows vista home premium, but when restarted the resolution became a windows vista home basic (no colors and lame minimize, close, etc). How do i change the resolution back?

I am just wondering whether there is any way that I can install Vista Home Premium without losing all of my HD data from Vista Home Basic OS? I have just bought the Home Premium.

I went on the website and there were two different prices. one was for if you already have windows 7 and want to upgrade the other’s price was way higher. So I want to know if windows vista premium is already windows 7 or what?

I just bought a new computer with windows vista home premium. I downloaded limewire and as expected I don’t have the proper codecs to play any videos. I know Klite codecs (Full) works on it but when I install it I don’t know what boxes I should check or uncheck to make sure all videos will play.
