I have vista and windows 7 on my comp, the idiot didnt remove vista when installing windows 7 and then he moved away along with the windows 7 disc and vista was already installed on my comp. How do I remove vista or how much would it cost to get it removed?

This is a cool video showing how to stall Windows Vista in 2 min flat. the poor man tried to install it on his computer and everything was incompatible. He kept getting a blue screen! He was pretty annoyed so he tried to install Windows Vista into something else. You might get a bit of a laugh out of it because I did.

This is properly the best way to install Windows Vista, as we all know that it was the worst operating system that Microsoft ever released. Thank God they bought out Windows 7 very quickly as it is a fantastic operating system and there is no need to install Windows Vista ever again!

i have a visat and windows duel boot computer, and when i try to open windows vista movie maker up on windows 7(as windows 7 does not come with it), it will not work. and i do not wana have to use the crapy live moviemaker as my movies already made on vista will probly not be compatible. and its crapyer version anyway. “Watch in HD” Hey Youtube, Quick tutorial on ‘How to partition your Hard Drive in Windows Vista’. First off, you will want to click The Start Menu, Right-Click on Computer, Click Manage. Then a new window should pop up, and it should be titled “Computer Management”. On the left sidebar panel, you will see a tab named Disk Management, click on it. Now right-click on the hard drive that you would like to partition and click ‘Shrink Volume…’. Now slect (In Megabites) how much you want to shink for your new hard drive. ***PLEASE NOTE*** 1GB = 1024MB 10GB = 10420MB 50GB = 51200MB Once you have selected your shrink volume, click shrink. Obviously the more you shrink, the longer it will take for your computer to partition. Once you have shrunk the hard drive, you will have a new bar which will be named ‘Unallocated with x amount of Gigabites’. Now right click on the unallocated black bar and click ‘New Simple Volume’. Then click next, and then select the volume size, assign the drive letter, name the partition and then click finish. The formatting takes a while so go get a drink or watch tv while you are waiting. Once it has formatted, you’re basically done. If you want to remove the partition, all you have to do is right-click on the hard drive that you want to delete and click delete volume… Then just follow the instructions. A couple months ago, I reinstalled Windows Vista. I plan to switch to Windows 7 but I need all of vista’s updates before I can do so, because its required/preferred. My computer is many months behind on the vista updates. I was wondering if there was a way to get my updates all at once or a lot quicker than just windows update, because as you know, in vista everytime you update, you have to reboot your comp before you can update again. Any help is appreciated.

I’m kind of new to Windows Vista. I’ve been hearing a lot lately about different types of Windows Vista, for example Windows Vista Home Basic, Windows Vista Home Premier and Windows Vista Business. I going to buy a new computer in a few weeks and I have no idea of what type of Windows Vista operating system I am going to buy. Can someone out there tell me the difference between the different types of Windows Vistas I listed above. Thank you for your help!

How To Disable Unnecessary Features In Windows Vista?

Windows Vista is the operating system that is automatically pre loaded with several mind blowing features but they all may not be helpful for your computer system. After Windows XP, Vista was released with so many features that would make any one fall for this platform. You have the right to optimize the computer system and can win over certain functions to be able to disable them which are otherwise not in use. Still many people don’t use all of the features and in this case it would be better to disable the unnecessary features.

Steps to disable unnecessary features in Windows Vista!

1. Select the Start button and then choose Control Panel.

2. Select the Programs icon.

3. The third step is to select the “Enable or disable” option for windows programs and features, under the same heading.

4. Then you will have to select the “Continue” tab.

5. After the above step, the list of the features present in the system will be shown. You have to uncheck the boxes of all those features that you do not want to use. For an instance, you can uncheck the box of Tablet Pc in case you do not have that or can also uncheck the games box if you are not using Windows games prior DFS Replication Service and so on. The choice is entirely yours.

6. Finally, Select the OK tab when you are done with it. You can again recheck them if the need arises.

If you need to have complete authoritative rule on to the Windows vista and its related features because you do not want the other users to make any changes to your computer and settings then you need to have the administrator account to your name. There are perhaps many reasons for why you would want this to do, but it’s always good to change the settings for privacy purpose. This way you can restrict the other users from making any changes to your computer and operating system in order to protect your files and folders.

To make Admin account on Windows Vista Business, Enterprise or Ultimate:

1. Click on Start button, type the phrase “secpol.msc” into the search box and press enter.

2. Then select the option “Local Policies” and further “Security Options”.

3. Now set the account “Administrator account” status to be “Enabled”.

4. Now set the User Account Control through “Admin Approval Mode” all for the in built Administrator account to be “Disabled”.

After following the above steps you will be logged on into the Windows Vista with complete administrative rights when you will log on next time.
