Sometimes reading on a computer can strain your eyes. This is why we need to adjust the text size or font size of the writing we are reading on the computer screen. This video shows two easy ways to make the text bigger or smaller. For example this blog has very small text, however this is easily fixed by pressing the CTRL key on your keyboard, and moving the scroll wheel on the mouse.  If you do not have a scroll wheel then you can use the + and – key on the number keypad.

In Windows XP, to remove programs it was done through the Add or Remove programs in the control panel. However in Windows Vista, the Add or Remove programs icon does not exist. It has been replaced with an icon called Programs and features.

How to remove software programs from Windows Vista?

  1. Go to the Windows Vista Start menu.
  2. Choose Control Panel from the menu.
  3. Find the icon named Programs and Features. Double click on it to open.
  4. Now you will see a list of programs installed on your computer.
  5. If you select the one you want to remove by making it blue a button will appear to remove the program.
  6. Press on the uninstall button to remove the program.
