The separate process for launching folders actually permits you to have control over each folder as whether it should be open in a separate window or must be expanded in the similar window. Steps for launching a folder or all folders as a separate process:

• At initial step, open up the Registry by typing “regedit” in the Run command.
• Now visit one of the defined locations.
• In order to take the changes to occur for the recent user, go to location:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ Explore

• In order to take the changes to occur for all the users, go to location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ Explorer

• Now create or just make modification if there is an existence of Dword value known as “SeparateProcess”
• You will have to set the value as 0 in order to disable or set it 1 in order to Enable the separate process option.
• Now restart the windows or just logout for the setting in order to take up the effect.
