I am just wondering whether there is any way that I can install Vista Home Premium without losing all of my HD data from Vista Home Basic OS? I have just bought the Home Premium.

Just install as an upgrade.
Yes. When you go to install it it will ask if you want to upgrade your present version. Take that option. An upgrade doesn’t format first or erase any files you have now that are not operating system files.
