The Windows Vista is the operating system having newest feature of “hybrid sleep” for the laptops. It also has a new feature of “Sleep”.
The Hybrid sleep option actually saves the Operating system to state into the RAM but it also writes all information into the hard drive too. This actually assures that when the power is lost then also the data will not be gone.
How to disable hybrid sleep mode in Windows Vista?
Now after following these steps, the laptop will go into “Sleep”. If the laptop is not in use for few seconds or the lid has been shut down, then the laptop will actually enter into complete sleep mode instead of hybrid sleep.
