I have 2 questions, the first one is: Whas Windows Vista built from scratch or is a modified version of the earlier operating systems?

What is a ”Vista Upgrade Experience” CD? Can I upgrade my XP to Vista with this CD? what is this CD about? my friend insisted that it was the full vista operating system, that it wasn’t any demo… is this true?

Vista is just Windows 2003 Server with a few things for desktop users and some crappy DRM that’ll eventually annoy you.

No its not built from scratch and i think the CD is the REal Deal IF you got it from a reliable source not the dollar store

VISTA is from an entirely new structure and is in many ways unlike any previous OS offered from Microsoft.
The experience CD only adds bells and whistles to XP to make it look and act like VISTA.
