How to setup a Windows Mail email account in Windows Vista

If your Email provider did not give you a setup disc you can setup a Windows Mail account manually as long as you have the settings available;

What you need to setup an account in Windows Mail:

You will need the Windows Mail program that comes free with Windows Vista
You will need to know your email address
Your password
Your incoming mail server
Your outgoing mail server
Sometimes you will need to know a port number to use. The default is 25, however some mail servers need to use 80.

I used your how to setup windows mail e-mail account in windows vista and it don’t work worth a damm. Is there another way to do this? I have been trying for 8 months. My internet service is through Clearwire. They will not give a straight answer. When I had Roadrunner they did me the same way. Seems like everybody thinks they are better than everybody. Why is this a secrut?
